We are pleased to announce that Ana Tuyama, M.D., has joined New York Gastroenterology Associates, effective July 6th. Dr. Tuyama will see patients in Brooklyn Heights and Manhattan, and perform endoscopy procedures at The Endoscopy Center of New York.
A board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Tuyama joins us with over 10 years of experience post fellowship. She previously practiced at Westmed Medical Group since 2013.
Dr. Tuyama received her medical degree from The Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) School of Medicine in Brazil, and then completed her internship, residency, and GI fellowship at Mount Sinai in Manhattan. Following her fellowship, she was an instructor in clinical investigation at Rockefeller University, an assistant clinical professor at NYU, a research fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a clinical instructor at Harvard.
